Earnest Expressions

Painting a blank canvas with a splash of observations!

What’s In a Name?!

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.

Jawaharlal Nehru

I earnestly try to capture this very beauty in my writing. Hence the title – “Earnest Expressions”.

I believe that some of the most amazing experiences of life can be had in the most unexpected ways. It could be a new place you found because you lost your way while travelling. It could be a new friend you made when you chose to talk to the person sitting next to you on the bus. It could be a new song you heard because you accidentally clicked on the wrong YouTube link. It could be one of life’s lessons learned by choosing to observe and take things in rather than just seeing and forgetting…

These experiences may not be momentous but they make a difference in the long run. Their existence enhances our life and adds more spice to it! Their memory gives us the strength to push through the tide of unhappiness surrounding us. Sometimes they can remind us to step out of our comfort zone again because we did it once and it gave us so much joy!

I like to share such experiences! I like to relive them when I write about them. An artist paints beautiful landscapes and stunning portraits onto a blank canvas, bringing about a confluence of structures and shades. My canvas is my blog, my ideas the shapes, and my words the colours! Hence the tagline, “Painting a blank canvas with a splash of observations”.

I intend to capture many more subtle aspects of life as and when I come across them! Do let me know whether you, too, can relate to my experiences! 🙂
